Child Safety Standards
Last updated: November 4, 2026
What Would Elalem Say? (Elalem Ne Der?), developed by teammadeit, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out our standards and how we enforce them.
What is prohibited
- Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), whether as photos, text, links or in any other form.
- Content that sexualizes children or praises or normalizes their abuse.
- Grooming: approaching children for sexual purposes, asking children for images or personal information, or trying to arrange to meet them.
- Selling or sharing child abuse material, or explaining how to find it.
Age limit
What Would Elalem Say? is not for children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we delete their account and data.
Prevention
- Questions, options, comments and nicknames are automatically screened for sexually explicit terms before they are saved; flagged content is not published.
- There are no private messages between users; all content is public and can be reported.
Reporting in the app
Use Report in the ⋮ menu of any question or comment to report it as “Sexual content” or for another reason, and block its author from the same menu. Reports reach our team immediately and are reviewed within 24 hours. Content reported by three users is hidden automatically, before review.
To report from outside the app, email hello@elalem.lol.
What we do
- We remove content that contains or is suspected to contain child abuse immediately.
- We permanently close the account responsible.
- We report child abuse material and related information to the relevant authorities as the law requires: in Türkiye, law enforcement and public prosecutors as well as İhbar Web; internationally, the NCMEC CyberTipline.
- We cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities.
